Associate of Applied Science Degree in Paramedicine
The Associate of Applied Science Degree in Paramedicine is a degree completion program. Western Kentucky University will award 40 credit hours for prior learning with National Certification as a Paramedic upon completion of all required course work. (Click here for Program Requirements). Most of the remaining 25 general education hours are available either through the internet, correspondence, or extended campus courses.
Please note that an application to the Bowling Green Community College (Click here for Enrollment Services Information) of Western Kentucky University must be completed along with 16 credit hours through WKU to complete the degree. Nine credit hours from another University/Community College may be transferred.

Application Procedure:
1. Submit admission application to University/Community College
2. Submit proof of GED or high school/college transcripts
3. Submit application fee of $35.00 (make checks payable to WKU)
