ACC 200C Accounting - Financial
Prerequisite: Sophomore standing and completion of general education mathematics requirement.
Introduction to the basic account theories, concepts and principles used in gathering and reporting financial data of a business organization. Course focuses on the information provided to external users through financial statements. Emphasis is placed on preparing the statements, examining the statements' components, and interpreting the information reported.

ACC 201C Accounting - Managerial

Prerequisite: ACC 200C
Introduces accounting concepts, practices, and t6ools for managerial decision making. This course is designed to provide an understanding of how financial and non-financial data are used in decision making and control. Topics typically include activity-bacesed costing, cost behavior, job-order costing, process costing, cost-volumne-profit analysis, flexible budgeting, relevancy costing, departmental cost allocation, and profit planning.


CSCI 145C Introduction to Computing
This introductory course is designed to provide an overview of computer terminology and organization with an emphasis on word processing, electronic spreadsheets, BASIC programming, and database.

BUS 100C Introduction to Business

BUS 160C Personal Finance
red bullet.Designed to serve the personal finance needs of students regardless of their major field of study. Practical applications in personal and family financial planning including budgeting, buying, borrowing, banking and home ownership.

BUS 210C Organization and Management
red bullet.An introduction to organization theory and organizational behavior. The course focuses on managing people and material resources to enhance organizational productivity and effectiveness. Attention is given to the managerial functions of planning, organizing, leading and controlling.

BUS 212C Principles of Marketing
Presents the problems of marketing and the ways today's marketers solve them. The course focuses on concepts and principles of theory and practice through the use of practical examples and cases. Studies include market planning, research, strategies, distribution, promotion, prcing, market segmentation, and consumer-oriented marketing.

BUS 253C Business Seminar
This course is designed to explore essential skills that employers want. Includes self-learning, communication and personal effectiveness, problem solving, goal setting, group effectiveness, influencing, managing personal and professional growth, and establishing standards for performance in the workplace. Career development, planning, management, and necessary employability and job search skills will be emphasized.
