New Programs for Business Majors . . .

The Business Division of the Community College of Western Kentucky University is in the process of developing and obtaining final approval for two new programs. These new programs will provide students at the Community College the opportunity to earn an Associate of Arts Degree in Business Management, and then continue on to earn a Bachelor Degree in General Business on Western’s main campus.  The minimum credit hours for this Two Plus Two program is a minimum of 135 credit hours, accomplished by taking up to 92 credit hours at the Community College and 43 credit hours on the main campus. The new Two Plus Two program has concentrations in both General Business and Human Resources.

The agreement to introduce and offer the Two Plus Two program was reached through discussions with Dr. Mohamed, the Chair, of the Management Division of Gordon Ford School of Business. If a student is interested in either program, or wants additional information, they can contact one of the advisors of the Business Management program in the Business and Compute Technology Division.   

 The Business Division is also currently in the process of developing two certificate programs in the Human Resources and Supervisory Management areas.  News concerning the certificates will be forthcoming.
