NURS 100C Nursing Fundamentals
Utilizes basic human needs, development theory, nursing process, and therapeutic nursing interventions to promote and maintain optimum health of selected populations.
NURS 110C Mental Health Nursing
Utilizes basic human needs, developmental theory, nursing process, therapeutic nursing interventions, and therapeutic communication to promote optimal mental health to selected populations.
NURS 111C Maternal-Newborn Nursing
Utilizes basic human needs, developmental theory, nursing process, and therapeutic nursing interventions to promote and maintain optimal health of newborns and women.
NURS 112 Medical/Surgical Nursing I
An introduction of medical/surgical nursing concepts and the utilization of basic human needs, developmental theory, nursing process, and therapeutic nursing interventions to promote optimal health of clients in selected populations.
NURS 201 Medical/Surgical Nursing II
Expansion on previous knowledge of medical/surgical concepts and utilizes basic human needs, developmental theory, the nursing process, and therapeutic nursing interventions to provide care for clients in selected populations.
NURS 230C Nursing Roles and Responsibilities
Investigation of issues and trends related to the profession of nursing including professional, ethical, and legal responsibilities in the practice of nursing.
NURS 250 Medical/Surgical Nursing III
Integrates previous knowledge and utilizes basic human needs, developmental theory, the nursing process and therapeutic nursing interventions to provide care for clients in selected populations. This course includes a 120-hour practicum.
