Student Success Top 15 List***

1. Attend every class and be on time
2. Ask questions and participate
3. Take notes and review them daily
4. Turn off electronic devices during class
5. Be prepared and meet all deadlines
6. Sit where you can see and hear the instructor
7. Get to know your instructor and let them know when you do not understand
8. Schedule a quiet study time each day (including weekends)
9. Form a study group and get the contact info of at least one other person in each class
10. Purchase textbooks and other needed materials and bring them to each and every class
11. Visit the LAC (Learning Assistance Center) early in the semester
12. Read assignment and test directions carefully and follow them
13. Stay organized; keep a calendar or use a daily planner
14. Eat well and get plenty of rest each night
